Hiromasa Yonebayashi is a Japanese animator and director from Studio Ghibli, having directed The Secret World of Arrietty and the upcoming film When Marnie Was There.
This art book is a collection of his concept sketches, drawings and illustrations he has created for more recent Studio Ghibli films like When Marnie Was There, Ponyo, Arrietty and Kaze Tachinu ( When The Wind Rises ).

A beautiful collection of art work from one of Ghibli’s new wave of young directors. With Miyazaki-san retired ( for now ), it will be up to new talent like Hiromasa Yonebayashi to carry on the amazing work that the studio has done so far.
