The Art Of Tetsuya Nishio : Full Spectrum is a spectacular art book showcasing the prolific animator/character designer’s impressive body of art work that includes the GITS anime series, Naruto, The Sky Crawlers, Jinroh, Ninku, Patlabor and more, many which are Production I.G / Mamoru Oshii related works.

Running at a voluminous 336 pages, the book is much bigger than I expected and covers art work created for promotional/marketing use, blu-ray covers, magazine specials and more. Also included are numerous character design sheets for Naruto/The Skycrawlers/Seirei No Moribito.

I’ve seen many of the art work featured in this book before, mostly the Ghost In The Shell pieces, but I’m embarrassed to say that I had no idea who the creator is until now. This art book consolidates the very best of Tetsuya Nishio’s incredible art work and comes very highly recommended.
